What You'll Be Doing:

• Overseeing and handling import and export customs declarations.
• Making sure that international laws and UK customs legislation are followed.

• Accurately and promptly preparing and filing customs paperwork.
• Responding to questions and educating customers about customs laws and processes.

• Keeping an eye on shipments to make sure they fulfil deadlines and customs regulations.
• Keeping track of all customs paperwork and submitting reports.

What We’re Looking For:

• Demonstrated expertise in the logistics or transportation sector as a Customs Clearance Specialist or a comparable position.
• Comprehensive understanding of international trade compliance and UK customs laws.
• Excellent communication skills, including the capacity to coordinate with clients and customs officials.
• Knowledge of customs systems and software, such as CHIEF and CDS.
• Outstanding organising abilities and attention to detail.
• The capacity to manage several tasks effectively in a hectic setting.
