Noble Recruiting is currently recruiting a Customs Coordinator to join our friendly and proactive client in the Manchester area.
Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be UK residents residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

- Salary of £26,000 to £28,000 per annum
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08.30 - 17.30

Your responsibilities include:
- Co-ordinate import and export activities for the site, conforming to HM Revenue & Customs regulations and relevant departments using appropriate systems.
- Consult with Customs legal counsel regarding export controls and licensing requirements.
- Ensure all HM Revenue & Customs duty liabilities are fulfilled, minimizing costs.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, agents, and customs authorities to resolve issues.
- Perform high volumes of data entry on spreadsheets.
- Make customs entry amendment requests to HMRC.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Line Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years UK experience in Exports/Imports & Customs Compliance and regulations.
- Knowledge of customs requirements and formalities, especially UK & EU imports.
- Experience in road transport, logistics, or haulage (desirable).
- Working knowledge of the CDS system for Imports and Exports.
- Knowledge of transit procedures and ETSF (desirable).
- Experience with HMRC amendments and reclaim processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility regarding working hours, including occasional weekends.
- UK resident with the right to work in the UK.
