WR Environmental in Antrim, NI is seeking a Customs Clearance Operative to join the Customs Division and support timely clearances. The role involves creating job files, data entry into customs software, and liaising with stakeholders to resolve queries efficiently.

Key duties include generating Import/Export declarations using TSS/CDS, tracking status, and ensuring compliance with latest customs procedures. Salary £30,000–£36,000pa DOE, full-time.

Qualifications

• Direct Customs Experience for a UK/Ireland Based Freight Forwarder, Customs Broker or Transport Company.
• Experience in both Import and Export Clearances.
• Knowledge of HMRC compliance and regulation.

Responsibilities

• Create job files, accurately enter data into customs software to submit entries in a timely manner.
• Sense check data provided by customers against required source and advise on potential errors.
• Create Import and Export declarations through using customs software such as TSS and CDS.
• Track and monitor declaration status.
• Liaise with all stakeholders. Dealing with any queries effectively and efficiently.
• Where necessary provide guidance and support on latest customs procedures and requirements.

Location: Antrim, NI

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000pa (DOE)

Are you an experience Customs Clearance Operative, looking for a new and exciting role based out of Antrim? This role could be right for you!

My client is looking to take on an enthusiastic Customs Clearance Operative/Coordinator/Clerk to join their Customs Division and support the Customs Team to deliver clearances on time.

Work Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday (7am - 4pm or 9am - 6pm)
