Job summary

HtE Recruitment Limited in the Midlands is seeking a Customs clearance clerk for a freight forwarder / logistics company. You will handle UK import/export paperwork, ensure on-time completion and compliance, and work in a small team.

This role offers Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with knowledge of ocean freight clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs clearance and knowledge of import/export clearance documents.
• Knowledge of ocean freight customs clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customs clearance paperwork is in place and filled on time.
• Handle UK imports/exports documentation to required formats.
• Work within a small team of four in the Midlands.

the role

as a Customs clearance clerk you will ensure that all the customs clearance paperwork is inplace and that the documents are filled on time and within the required format for UK imports and exports. this customs clearance role will include all the standard customs clearance duties
