Job summary

Co-op Group is seeking Customer Team Members in Bedale to join a friendly, busy local Co-op store. You’ll deliver warm, helpful service, work on tills, and assist in various store areas such as post office or bakery.

Training is provided, and you will be part of a team that supports the community with everyday essentials. The role requires 18+ with flexibility for early/late shifts and weekends, with permanent contracts and regular overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-moving store.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, helpful service at the till and on the shop floor.
• Help keep shelves stocked and prices accurate.
• Assist with post office, bakery, or online order fulfilment where required.
• Contribute to a smooth daily operation and great shopping experience.
