Job summary

Co-op is hiring Customer Team Members to join our Sheffield store at 449 Richmond Road. The role involves delivering friendly, helpful service on the shop floor, tills, and may include post office or bakery tasks in some stores. Part-time contract (15 hours plus overtime) with full training provided and flexible weekend shifts.

You’ll help keep shelves stocked, assist customers, promote Co-op membership, and contribute to a welcoming, community-focused store environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day store running by delivering friendly, thoughtful service and put things right when needed.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Hands-on on shop floor and tills, contributing to daily operations for a great shopping experience.
• Help maintain store performance by stocking shelves and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Keep the store safe and legal – ensure prices, dates and temperatures are correct.
