Job summary

Co-op is looking for Customer Team Members to join our local store teams in the United Kingdom. You’ll work as part of a friendly team in a fast-moving environment, delivering essential services and friendly, helpful service to customers every day.

This role may involve working in the post office, bakery, or assisting with online order pickers and packers for home delivery. One must be aged 18 or over due to early/late shift requirements, with full paid training provided.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; enthusiasm for helping people and delivering great service.
• Interest in retail and working in a fast-paced store environment.
• Willingness to work a mix of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, helpful service on the shop floor and tills, and assist with post office counter transactions where applicable.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly and shelves stocked.
• Support daily operations and price checks, ensuring stock accuracy and compliance with store policies.
• Promote Co-op membership and local community involvement.
• Contribute to a safe, clean and welcoming shopping environment for customers.
