Job summary

Co-op Group in Exeter is hiring Customer Team Members to deliver friendly, helpful service in our local store. You'll join a close-knit team and support customers across post office, bakery, or online services by picking and packing orders for home delivery.

The role involves varied shifts including early mornings and late evenings, with at least one weekend shift. Full, paid training is provided, and you’ll have opportunities to learn while contributing to the community.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers and help resolve issues.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate on shop floor and tills to support daily operations and create a great shopping experience.
• Maintain shelves, check prices, dates and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety and legal compliance with correct pricing and temperatures.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support the local community.
