Job summary

Co-op in Bishops Castle is hiring a Customer Team Member to join a friendly team in our local store, supporting post office or bakery operations as needed.

The role is 16 hours per week with regular overtime, on a 2pm–10pm schedule from Wednesday to Sunday, with full training provided and a focus on delivering great customer service to the community. You will be part of a team that keeps shelves stocked and promotes Co-op Membership.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people through friendly customer service.
• Able to work the 2pm–10pm shift across Wed–Sun.
• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, thoughtful service and help resolve issues.
• Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Handle tills and bakery duties on the shop floor.
• Keep shelves stocked and check prices and dates.
• Promote Co-op Membership and engage with customers.
