Job summary

Co-op Group in Tarvin is hiring a Customer Team Leader to run a busy local store and help deliver essential services to the community.

You will lead a small team on shift, coach colleagues, support tills and shop floor operations, and drive merchandising and stock accuracy. The role is part-time with 24 hours per week plus overtime at £14.48 per hour, offering regular benefits and a chance to grow with the Co-op.

Qualifications

• Passion for people and leadership.
• Ability to work flexibly and lead by example.
• Skills in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth.
