Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Leader in a bustling local store. You will manage a small team, ensuring smooth opening, middle and closing shifts while maintaining stock, service and tills discipline.

The role offers a permanent part‑time contract with regular overtime opportunities, and includes a strong focus on community engagement and member benefits. You’ll help develop the team, support merchandising and stock control, and champion Co‑op membership across store activities.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ to perform age-restricted sales.
• Flexibility to cover opening, middle and closing shifts, including weekends.
• Leadership and coaching abilities; experience valued but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Own the day‑to‑day running of the store on your shift and lead the team.
• Motivate, coach, and support the team to deliver great service and operations.
• Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills to drive daily performance.
• Support merchandising, stock accuracy and HR processes as needed.
• Champion Co‑op membership and community engagement.
