Co-op in Worcester is seeking a Customer Team Leader to oversee a small team across opening, closing and mid-day shifts. You’ll ensure smooth store operations, support tills, and help deliver essential services to customers and the local community.
You’ll lead by example, coach staff, and drive member engagement while promoting Co-op values. The role is 24 hours per week with overtime, on a 3-month temporary contract with a part-time pattern.
Location: 63 - 65 Canada Way Lower Wick, Worcester, WR2 4XA
Pay: £14.48 per hour
Contract: 24 hours per week + regular overtime, 3 month temporary contract, part time
Working pattern: A mix of opening, closing, and mid‑day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift. Either, Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday. We’re happy to discuss your availability further at interview.

As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll lead a small team in a fast‑paced Co‑op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
You’ll keep our shelves stocked and support sales, helping us offer even more choice and exciting new services to our customers. You’ll be a familiar face in the community, getting to know your customers and helping us stay connected with local and national charities. Plus, you will be a champion for Co‑op membership, helping to drive the growth of our unique business.
