Job summary

Co-op Digital in Rugeley is looking for a part-time Customer Team Leader to oversee shifts, motivate team members, and ensure effective daily operations. You’ll be working hands-on to support store performance and engage with the community.

Job Details

Customer Team Leader

Location: 4-6 Redbrook Lane, Rugeley, WS15 1AB

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 20 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time

Working pattern: Closing shifts from mid‑afternoon through to late evening and close, with flexible availability across the week to include at least 1 weekend shift (either Friday after 6pm, any Saturday shift, or any Sunday shift).

30% colleague member discount in store.

You must be aged 18+ to authorise age‑related sales.

Responsibilities

• Own the day‑to‑day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co‑op through community engagement and membership growth.
