Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Leader for the Retail Unit in Colliers Row, RM5 2PU. The role leads a small team on shifts across store opening, daytime, and closing periods, with at least one weekend shift.

You will help keep shelves stocked, deliver great service, and support online services and home delivery drivers where applicable. You will mentor team members, drive merchandising and stock accuracy, and engage with local communities and Co-op membership growth.

Competenze

• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience in retail, merchandising, or people management preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication.

Customer Team Leader

Location: The Retail Unit Turpin Avenue, Colliers Row, RM5 2PU

Pay: £15.73 per hour including London allowance

Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview.

Join us as a Customer Team Leader and take the next step toward managing your own store.

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
