Job summary

Co-op in Cambourne is seeking a Customer Team Leader to manage a small store team on a part-time basis. You will supervise a shift, help deliver essential services, and support online and delivery operations as required.

You’ll lead by example, foster great customer service, and work on the shop floor and tills. The role emphasizes community engagement, Co-op membership growth, and flexible scheduling including weekends.

Job description

You must be aged 18+ to authorise age-related sales. This role may involve periods of independent working which we'll discuss with you at interview. We'll provide relevant safety technology, and the duration of lone working will be kept within agreed guidelines.

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.

What you’ll do

What you’ll bring

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 15 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent

Working pattern: 2pm to 10pm Sunday and Thursday, with flexible availability across the week to include at least 1 weekend shift. We’re happy to discuss additional availability further at interview.
