Job summary

Co-operatives Digital is hiring a Customer Team Leader for a store in Upminster. You will lead a small team, run day-to-day store operations during your shifts, and ensure excellent customer service while managing stock and merchandising tasks.

The role requires flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends, with a focus on community engagement and delivering Co-op membership benefits across the store.

Customer Team Leader

Location: 166 Upminster Road Upminster, Upminster, RM14 2BB

Pay: £15.73 per hour including London allowance

Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview

Join us as a Customer Team Leader and take the next step toward managing your own store.

As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.

You'll be a familiar face in the community, getting to know your customers and helping us stay connected with local and national charities. What you’ll do
