Job summary

Sammons Recruitment Group, a long‑standing independent recruitment business with offices across the South East, is seeking a proactive recruitment support/consultant to join the Hastings team. You will help connect candidates with local employers, deliver excellent service, and contribute to ongoing client relationships.

You'll gain comprehensive training, mentoring, and clear career progression in a friendly, supportive office environment with an uncapped commission structure.

• Experience in customer-facing roles is desirable.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a people-focused role where you'll be helping both candidates and local businesses.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Delivering an excellent customer experience to candidates and clients.
• Building strong relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact.
• Speaking with candidates to understand their skills, experience and career goals.
• Matching candidates with suitable job opportunities.
• Writing engaging job adverts and promoting vacancies across job boards and social media.
• Searching for candidates using job boards, LinkedIn and our database.
• Arranging interviews and supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Keeping candidate and client records accurate and up to date.
• Learning how to build relationships with local businesses and identify new opportunities.
• Working alongside experienced consultants while developing your own client and candidate network.
• Working towards individual and team targets with plenty of coaching and support.

Previous recruitment experience isn't required. Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, administration or another customer-facing role would be an advantage, but your attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are what matter most.
