A leading construction company is seeking a Customer Service Officer based in Exeter to manage customer inquiries and support operational teams. The role involves resolving customer issues efficiently, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring a high standard of service. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and relevant experience in customer service.

We have an opportunity for a Customer Liaison Officer to join Clancy, working closely with our South West Water team. Based within our client's offices, this role is key in supporting both our customers and operational teams. You'll be responsible for investigating and resolving customer queries related to works carried out on the water network, as well as assisting the Contracts and Project Manager with planned schemes.
You'll act as a central point of contact, ensuring that customer issues are dealt with efficiently and professionally, helping maintain the high standards expected by both Clancy and South West Water.

Significant experience in managing customer complaints and queries, ideally in a fast-paced or sensitive environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with the ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused when handling complex or contentious situations.
You should hold a valid UK driving licence and be comfortable summarising technical information for non-technical audiences. The ability to work independently, use your initiative, and operate well as part of a team is important. Previous experience in the construction or utilities sector would be highly beneficial.
