CLdN Cargo in Grangemouth is seeking a Customer Service & Logistics Representative to join our Grangemouth Office. You will handle cargo bookings, coordinate with hauliers, ports and customs, and support cross‑border operations.

This is a temporary position with a view to a permanent contract, offering hybrid working after probation, a competitive salary, pension, life assurance and a weekend duty allowance.

This is initially a temporary position with a view to transitioning to a permanent contract, subject to performance and business requirements.

Your role

• Customer Service & Operations: Provide high quality services for cargo bookings.
• Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with hauliers, customers, ports, pilots and customs authorities to ensure seamless logistics.
• Cross Team Collaboration: Liaise with colleagues across the UK and European offices to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Customs & Documentation: Assist with customs procedures and ensure all transport documentation is accurate.
• Problem Solving: Take ownership of challenges, identify root causes and drive effective solutions.
• Quotations & Pricing: Prepare and manage client quotations, ensuring they are competitive and accurate.

Your profile

• Have proven administration experience preferably within a transport or shipping environment
• Be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Possess a flexible approach to work
• Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• To understand IT systems
• Be able to work to a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
• Be able to work independently, but also as part of a team
