Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Customer Service Tutor to deliver employability training to job seekers across the UK through virtual classrooms. The successful candidate will excel in delivering dynamic and engaging sessions, guiding learners toward achieving their qualifications and securing long-term employment.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver engaging online training sessions to groups working towards accredited qualifications, assessing their strengths and areas for improvement, and providing tailored support.
2. Motivate and inspire learners using flexible teaching methods in an online environment, adapting TLA plans to suit your style and creating a positive learning experience.
3. Support learners in developing essential English, Maths, and ICT skills, focusing on communication and confidence building, especially in telephone manners.
4. Regularly review and update course materials, lesson plans, and schemes of work.
5. Work towards internal and external audits effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Minimum of 3 years relevant industrial or commercial experience, with prior training delivery experience.
2. PGCE/CertEd/QTS or Level 4 teaching qualification, along with qualifications in relevant subject areas and GCSEs in Maths & English.
3. Ability to deliver occasional classroom sessions within the local area (Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester, Stockton-on-Tees).
4. Access to a vehicle for regional travel, as regular travel is required.
5. Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of up to £35,000 (dependent on experience). Benefits include 23 days holiday, bank holidays, and a healthcare plan. The role is remote, but occasional local classroom delivery may be required.
