Night-Time Customer Service Assistant
Location: Newcastle
Hourly Rate: £13
Working Hours: 9pm – 6am. x2 shifts per week. Availability needs to be Monday - Sunday as shift will vary each week.

We’re seeking a Night-time Customer Service Assistant to provide a luxury, home-from-home experience for our residents while maintaining our site & facilities to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, personalized service to residents by anticipating and fulfilling their needs, offering local attraction information, and handling inquiries to ensure a seamless experience.
- Greet and welcome students and guests warmly and vibrantly at front of house/reception.
- Be available to answer questions and assist as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of our site and facilities, ensuring communal areas are kept to high standards during night shifts.
- Ensure residents and guests respect the facilities.
- Address issues or challenges promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular building surveys every 4-6 hours and report findings.
- Replenish refreshments such as coffee, tea, milk, and vending machine items.
- Manage parcel storage for easy access by students.
- Serve as the primary contact for incidents or emergencies onsite.
- Maintain waste management areas, adhering to health & safety regulations and addressing hazards.
Professional Experience
- Experienced in delivering premium customer service.
- Proactive in maintaining cleanliness and safety, with some cleaning duties involved.
- Technologically savvy, capable of supporting various systems and software.
Personal Characteristics
- Respectful of cultural diversity, delivering an inclusive approach.
- Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Strong organizational and leadership qualities; calm under pressure.
- Creative, positive, adaptable, resilient, and able to handle extended standing and repetitive tasks.
- Flexible availability to cover 24/7 operations, including holidays and special occasions.
