Night-Time Customer Service Assistant - Coventry

Hourly Rate: £13.50

Working Hours: 9:30pm – 6:30am. 2x 9-hour shifts per week

We are seeking a Night-time Customer Service Assistant to deliver a luxurious, home-from-home experience for our residents and ensure our site and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Our Night-Time Customer Service Assistant role involves:
  1. Providing exceptional, personalized service to residents, anticipating their needs, and offering local information to create a seamless experience.
  2. Greeting and welcoming students and guests warmly as Front of House / Reception.
  3. Being available to answer questions and assist residents and guests.
  4. Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of communal areas throughout the night shift.
  5. Ensuring respectful use of facilities by residents and guests.
  6. Addressing issues or challenges promptly and effectively.
  7. Conducting regular building surveys (block walks) every 4-6 hours and reporting findings.
  8. Replenishing refreshments and managing vending supplies.
  9. Managing parcel storage and access for students.
  10. Serving as the primary contact for incidents or emergencies onsite.
  11. Maintaining waste management areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Professional Experience:
  • Experienced in delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Comfortable with cleaning duties and proactive in maintaining communal area cleanliness and safety.
  • Technologically proficient with various systems and software.
Personal Characteristics:
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment, respecting diversity.
  • Excellent communication skills; multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and leadership qualities, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Adaptable, creative, positive, and resilient.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, with reasonable adjustments as needed.
  • Flexible availability to work across our 24/7 operation, including holidays and special occasions.
