Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in a fast paced retail environment where no day is the same. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments and helping maintain the store’s appearance.

You’ll engage customers, encourage feedback, and work across all store areas to meet customer needs. We value safety, inclusivity and community involvement, and offer flexible working arrangements to fit

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with stocking shelves and processing payments.
• Help maintain the store's appearance and safety.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and improve service.

Responsibilities

• Know customers and serve them with passion and pride.
• Encourage customer feedback via surveys.
• Work across all store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines.
• Follow training to work safely and to policy.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events.
• Understand store performance and contribute to profitability.
• Follow the Think 25 policy for age-restricted products.
• Respond quickly to assistance calls on self-service checkouts.
• Keep aisles clear and maintain a clean, organized store.
• May run the shift in absence of leaders and ensure safe/legal operations.
