Job summary

Mitie Group plc seeks a Customer Service Assistant to join the Total Security Management Team on-site with one of our prestigious customers. The role reports to the Operations Manager and focuses on delivering a first-class service, supporting SLAs, and handling site operations and communications.

You will be part of a team ensuring safety, accessibility and smooth daily activities, with responsibilities ranging from post handling to assisting with PEEPs and basic IT/AV explanations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a team-based environment.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook for daily tasks.
• Clear understanding of Health & Safety practices.
• Possess or be able to obtain a valid SIA licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class service within the facility as part of a team.
• Support Service Level Agreement by carrying out Site Support activities.
• Handle customer requests efficiently and effectively.
• Provide labour support for out-of-hours events.
• Process internal/external post and courier deliveries/collections.
• Support Emergency Evacuation procedures and review procedures.
• Assist with PEPPs for less-abled guests and explain AV/IT systems to customers.

Mitie has a great opportunity for a customer service assistant to join the Total Security Management Team; the customer service assistant will be based with one of our prestigious customers. This is a permanent role reporting into the Operations Manager.

Main Duties

• To work as part of a team to deliver a first-class service within the facility.
• To support the Service Level Agreement by ensuring that all Site Support activities are carried out effectively.
• To ensure all customer requests are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
• Provide labour support to ad-hoc out of hours events.
• Internal/external post and courier deliveries/collections.
• Support Emergency Evacuation procedures.
• To support the review of procedures and processes.
• Support with personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPS) for less abled guests.
• An understanding of Audio Visual and IT systems and the ability to explain this accurately to customers.
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail).
• Able to move heavy / bulky items.
• Clear understanding of Health & Safety practices.
• Customer focused with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Enthusiastic and conscientious approach to all Site Support related tasks.
• Clear, strong and confident communication skills.
• Either hold a current SIA licence or be able to obtain a new licence.
