Job summary

Defence Compass Group UK&I in Exmouth is seeking a Customer Services Assistant to join a busy Defence catering team. You will deliver friendly customer service, prepare food, and help create attractive displays in a fast-paced environment.

We value reliability, teamwork and a proactive attitude; experience in catering is helpful but not essential. The role is 37.5 hours per week, with potential for progression in a company that invests in its people.

If so, then we are looking for someone just like you to help us deliver exceptional customer experience for Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. As a Customer Services Assistant, you will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment. Please note: This role is contracted to 49.2 weeks per year

Key responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Creating attractive food and counter displays
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
• Handling cash and operating the cash register
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards Complying with Health & Safety regulations
