Job description

We are IKEA Exeter and are excited to invite enthusiastic and friendly people to join our Customer Relations team.

We offer 12-hour and 16-hour per week contracts, involving working 3 out of 4 weekends per month, with shifts throughout the week. The latest shift finishing times from Monday to Saturday are at 21:00.

What You'll Need to Have

We seek co-workers committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience, always putting the customer at the heart of everything. Experience in retail or customer-facing roles is desirable, whether paid, voluntary, or academic.

This is a fast-paced role requiring the ability to serve multiple customers, especially during weekends.

What You'll Be Doing Day to Day

• Creating positive customer experiences to encourage repeat visits
• Collaborating with colleagues across functions to enhance the customer journey
• Greeting and assisting customers at check-outs and returns
• Supporting payment processes, including scanning, payments, and guiding customers at self-serve areas
• Using product knowledge to offer informed solutions and build customer loyalty
