Job summary

SSE is seeking a Customer Service Call Advisor for its SSEN Distribution unit in Havant. This 12-month fixed-term, full-time role is office-based, 37 hours per week, with a rota from 06:30–00:00.

Base location is Havant - Penner Road, and the salary ranges from £30,684 to £36,666 plus shift allowance and benefits. You will handle inbound and outbound calls to support customers during outages, provide timely updates, resolve concerns, and maintain a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service is essential.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Thirst for knowledge and a desire to learn new things.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with customers experiencing power cuts or electrical issues.
• Communicate clearly with customers, providing updates, reassurance and tailored support.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints and ensure high service standards.
• Identify vulnerabilities during interactions and discuss available support to provide appropriate assistance.
