Job Description

Role: Customer Service Advisor (Business Admin)

Contract Status: Permanent

Are you interested in working for the largest local authority in Scotland, in partnership with the NHS, to help improve the health and wellbeing of our community? Then, you are in the right place!

At Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP), we are the first point of contact for all Social Work referrals, working closely with members of the public and professionals. Our service spans across Adults, Older People, Children & Families, Non Offence Referral Management Team (NORM), and Homelessness.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll work in a fast-paced office environment, carrying out tasks including call handling, dealing with customer inquiries, and gathering and processing referral information. You will also be responsible for updating and maintaining relevant IT systems and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Due to the sensitive nature of our work, we are seeking individuals who display empathy and enthusiasm, delivering excellent customer service professionally and politely. If that sounds like you, why not apply?

Our organization offers numerous promotion opportunities. Successful applicants will also have access to generous benefits, including:

  • 26 days (182 hours) paid annual leave, rising to 29 days (203 hours) after 5 years’ service
  • 12.5 days (87.5 hours) paid public holidays annually

These roles are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).

Interviews are likely to be held during the week commencing Monday 14 July 2025.
