Job summary

GAP Group in Tilbury is seeking an energetic Hire & Sales Coordinator to support our Welfare division, hiring portable toilets, wheelchair access units, eco welfare units and tanker services. You will be the first point of contact for customers, driving service excellence and ensuring smooth operations.

As you manage hire requests, coordinate logistics, and resolve queries, you’ll help maximise sales and ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• High-volume hire desk or similar fast-paced environment experience.
• Excellent customer service with a commercial edge to drive sales.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Confident IT skills including Outlook and Excel.
• A team player who can work independently and use initiative.
• Experience in plant & tool hire is a bonus and welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing hires across a wide range of equipment.
• Process hire desk administration and handle customer and supplier queries quickly.
• Ensure stock levels meet demand and identify sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with drivers and fitters for timely deliveries and collections.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Hire & Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic Welfare division that hires a range of portable chemical toilets, ADA approved wheelchair access units alongside mobile eco welfare units and 26 tonne Tanker services. Supporting customers with a variety of waste, water and servicing solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing incoming and outgoing hires per day across a wide range of plant and tool equipment
• Processing hire desk administration and handling customer and supplier queries with speed and accuracy
