Job summary

Halfords in Chelmsford is seeking a Part-time Retail Colleague to support customers across our motoring and cycling product range. The role includes delivering great service, explaining our products and fitting services, and working with a team to meet sales targets.

You will be trained extensively, with opportunities to progress within Retail or the Group, and you’ll receive benefits including store discounts and a range of employee supports.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering great customer service in a retail environment.
• Ability to understand customer needs and upsell where appropriate.
• Willingness to work on weekends and rotate shifts.

Ideally, you already have Retail sales experience but if you've worked in another customer focused sales environment, we're likely to be a great fit for each other.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Experience of delivering great customer service, ideally in a retail sales environment
• A proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends
• Ideally, some experience of working towards and achieving sales targets
