An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Welshpool Agency.
About the role:
As a Customer Sales Adviser within our team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, ensuring the office runs like clockwork and our customers are always happy.
• Initially you willprovide sales and service for Personal Linescustomers. As you gain more experience, we will train you in our Commercial products so that you can assist our business customers.
• Provide exceptional administrative support, including reviewing and processing policy renewals and mid-term amendments.
• Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of NFU Mutual General Insurance products.
• Spot opportunities to introduce customers to our Financial Adviser.
• Maintain customer relationships, to enhance and protect NFU Mutual’s reputation and brand.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
About you:
• Professional, hardworking with an attention to detail and a ‘can-do’ attitude
• A confident and effective communicator, both verbal and written
• Great organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks
• Customer Service and/or Sales experience is desirable; however insurance experience is not essential as we provide full training.
• Individuals who can demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to our existing and prospective clients.
• Confidence with IT systems.
• Minimum requirement of 5 GCSE’s grade 4 / C or above which must include English and Maths.

Starting salary is competitive depending on experience and we provide the opportunity to increase your salary as you progress within our business.
