Hood Group Ltd. is seeking a Customer Payments Clerk (maternity cover) to join our Finance team. The role involves supporting the Customer Payments Manager in premium collections, refunds, and reporting, with a hybrid setup of one day on-site per week at the Southend office.

Applicants should have finance or credit control experience, strong attention to detail, and confidentiality in handling financial data. Knowledge of Sirius, ICE, and Sage Pay systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Finance, or credit control is essential.

• Disciplined, organised and methodical approach to work.
• Ability to understand the importance of confidentiality in handling financial data.
• Insurance or financial services sector experience is beneficial.
• Systems knowledge in Sirius, ICE, Sage Pay, PTX, Premium Credit Limited, Magenta and Pay360 is beneficial.

We are looking to recruit a Customer Payments Clerk, to join our Finance team on a maternity cover. In this role, you will support the Customer Payments Manager in all aspects of premium collections, credit control, processing customer refunds and reporting.

This is a hybrid role - 1 day a week on site at our Southend office.

What We Need From You:

• Previous experience in Finance, or credit control is essential
