Job summary

IKEA Sheffield is seeking a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker to join our busy team. You will be picking, packing, and preparing orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment, contributing to a smooth customer experience.

The role requires energy, teamwork, and organisational skills, with regular shifts between 6am–9:30pm, a 4-day week, and a starting date of 6 November 2026. Eligible for IKEA benefits and a discount portal.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential

We at IKEA Sheffield are looking to welcome Customer Order Pickers to join our hard-working fulfilment team. In IKEA we call this a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker.

As an Operations Co-worker in IKEA’s Fulfilment team, you’ll be right in the heart of the action—picking, packing, and prepping orders. It’s a fast-paced, hands-on role where teamwork, energy, and a knack for staying organised turn a busy day into a satisfying one. WHAT WE OFFER

• Start Date of employment will be: 6th November 2026
• Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
• 24 hours, working 4 days per week with every fourth weekend off, there will be a variety of shifts working between 6am – 9.30pm

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential, all you will need is the enthusiasm to thrive in an active workplace.
• Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
• Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure you are prepared to initiate tasks on your own initiative and to participate productively in group efforts.
• Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older.
• Be comfortable with extensive manual handling.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Using systems to pick and prepare customer orders in a timely manner.
• Manual handling of heavy stock.
• Assist in-store customers with inquiries, facilitate item pickups, and operate the warehouse sales desk.
• Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
