The role

This position is part of our international Customer Operations team. You will support GoCardless customers with inquiries, advising on product use and providing excellent customer service, which is central to our team.

The role involves customer and stakeholder management, query resolution, and offers a great career path in Customer Operations within the fast-paced fintech environment.

Fully Remote

Working hours

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

As part of our 24/7 operation, some work on bank holidays may be required. Your training week will be office-based, 10:00am - 6:00pm, before transitioning to your regular schedule in week 2.

What excites you
  • Supporting French and English-speaking customers via email, phone, and online meetings, ensuring first-class service
  • Advising merchants on best practices with GoCardless products
  • Escalating issues to relevant teams like Engineering, Privacy, Security for solutions
  • Supporting internal translations and operations related to our products
  • Creating and reviewing GoCardless Partner accounts for businesses
  • Handling incident resolution and communication to affected customers
  • Participating in internal and external projects within Customer Support
  • Documenting procedures and learnings to improve internal knowledge and scalability
What excites us
  • Fluency in English and French, with clear written communication skills
  • Experience in Customer Support roles
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer experiences and remaining calm under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and task completion
  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders at all levels, adhering to product and compliance standards
  • Understanding of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (preferred)
  • Experience with tools like Zendesk or Looker (preferred, not essential)

Our salary ranges are based on role, level, location, and market data. We aim to pay between the minimum and mid-range, considering experience, interview performance, and internal parity.
