Job summary

Tesco is seeking in-store colleagues to be at the heart of our stores. Youll join an inclusive team, enjoy variety and daily challenges across service, shelves, checkout and online order picking with occasional delivery support.

Your role is to provide friendly, natural service, know our products, and help customers with confidence. We guarantee a minimum of 12 hours per week and pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers
• To work well in a team and communicate openly,having fun, and celebrating success
