Job summary

Tesco is hiring Customer Colleagues to join our store teams across the UK. In this role, you’ll provide friendly, helpful service, stock shelves, assist customers, and support checkout and online order picking as needed.

You'll work a minimum of 16 hours per week (some roles from 12 hours), with contracted hours scheduled in advance. Pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores, with potential additional payments in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
