Job summary

Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is seeking a friendly Sales Assistant for the Chipping Norton branch. You’ll learn product lines, help customers in person and over the phone, process orders and payments, and keep the branch tidy and well-stocked.

Responsibilities

• Get to know our product lines and services to maximise customer interactions.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers (face to face and over the phone) and provide proactive advice.
• Use our in-house systems to process orders and payments, organise delivery times and update customer accounts.
• Keep the branch clean and tidy to create a great first impression.
• Maintain stock levels with regular stock counts.
• Work with colleagues to identify opportunities for improvement.
