Jayne Marriner Consultancy is helping a well-established independent optical practice in Bexleyheath recruit an Optical Assistant. You will welcome patients, assist with frame and lens choices, and support the optometrist with pre-screening tests.

Qualifications

• Welcoming patients and delivering excellent customer service.
• Assisting customers in choosing frames and lenses to suit lifestyle and budget.
• Carrying out pre-screening tests and supporting the optometrist.
• Adjusting, fitting, and repairing spectacles.
• Managing appointments and handling patient enquiries.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional practice environment.
• Previous optical experience is preferred but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
