Job summary

Bupa Care Homes in Brighton is seeking a Customer Service Consultant to join our team. This office-based role offers hybrid working after training, with an eight-week full-time training period and a 35-hour week from Monday to Friday.

Salary is £26,400 with a £500 uplift after probation, plus a comprehensive benefits package. You will handle UK and international customer inquiries mainly by phone, ensuring high-quality service, empathetic communication, and accurate data management.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills and focus on achieving successful outcomes.
• Ability to manage emotive or complex queries with empathy.
• Proficiency with technology and internal systems while speaking with customers.
• Track record of achieving productivity and quality targets.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests predominantly via phone to provide swift, accurate resolutions.
• Resolve customer queries to satisfaction without referrals where possible.
• Support inquiries through inbound and outbound calls, ensuring a positive experience.
• Pre-authorise or decline treatments per policy and book appointments for members.
• Accurately maintain customer records and ensure all interactions are logged.
