Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Customer Experience Agent based at the JCB site in East Midlands Gateway, Derby. The role runs Mon-Fri, 12pm-8pm, focusing on delivering outstanding client service, coordinating with suppliers and Maersk offices globally, and improving service efficiency.

You will produce reports, monitor supplier performance, and support client problem-solving by understanding their business processes and challenges. A proactive, detail-oriented communicator is essential.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Experience in Logistics is a plus.
• Ability to use rigorous logic and analytical skills to solve complex problems with effective solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent telephone manner and strong customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a 1st class level of customer service to clients, professionally and efficiently.
• Liaise with third party suppliers and Maersk offices worldwide.
• Continuously look for ways to improve service and efficiency.
• Ensure documents are processed accurately and on time per policies.
• Produce internal and external reports and client KPI data.
