Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is offering a placement in Customer Experience, Data, Insights & Analytics, and Learning & Development. This internship provides exposure to customer engagement, data quality, and learning programmes while building analytical and project-management capabilities in a regulated, global pharmaceutical environment.

You will contribute to practical projects, work with colleagues across the business, and gain experience turning complex information into clear materials and insights

Qualifications

• Currently studying for a degree in social sciences, business, English, communications or a related subject, and completing a placement year as part of the course. Applications from other degree disciplines are welcome where there is a demonstrable interest in organisational development, communications, data or people-related topics.
• A minimum of three A levels at grades ABB, or equivalent.
• The right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.
• The ability to travel independently to the usual place of work and, where required, to other sites.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with confidence using Microsoft Office and the willingness to learn new systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Support customer engagement projects designed to help our external customer-facing colleagues work as effectively as possible. This may include supporting account excellence, incentive schemes, tracking and reporting activities, and omnichannel initiatives such as campaign performance analysis.
• Help maintain data quality by checking and cleaning data, managing data-quality tickets and updating Data Lakehouse documentation.
• Assist with market research coordination, non-trial activity processes and selected Python application development, including user-experience design, data transformation and coding.
• Support Learning & Development communications, learning pathways, internal intranet content, training curricula and evaluation reporting.
• Analyse internal and external information, create clear materials from complex sources and contribute ideas, tools and solutions that the team can test and learn from.
