Vertiv is seeking a Senior Thermal Customer Engineer to perform maintenance and emergency repairs on Thermals and other contracted systems. You will liaise with customers, sales managers, and scheduling teams, ensuring safety, compliance, and timely service delivery.

Responsibilities include responding to service calls, maintaining maintenance completion rates above 90%, producing reports, and supporting the service team.

Formación

• NVQ Level 1 & 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• City and Guilds 2078 or 2079 in Refrigerant Safe Handling, subscribed to ACRIB.

Responsabilidades

• Respond professionally to all assigned service calls while on duty.
• Perform work safely and in accordance with company safety policy.
• Follow codes of practice/legislation relevant to tasks.
• Assist in maintaining planned maintenance completion rate at a minimum 90%.
• Keep scheduling team informed of schedule changes and status of open jobs.
• Maintain accuracy of customer listings and report site changes.
• Close tasks in Oracle Mobile Field Service (MFS) and complete weekly paperwork.
• Create reports using FieldDB and ensure synchronization.
• Report sales or service leads to proper department.
• Support company vision and management decisions.
• Use email and Office programs to maintain communications.
• Ensure Vertiv processes are followed.
• Keep company vehicle clean and maintained.
• Protect tooling and company property.
• Work as part of service team and support business needs.
• Take an active role in the callout rota.

Job Description

• Responsible for maintenance and emergency repairs of Vertiv’s Thermal Management products as well as other contracted systems. He/She is required to establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, sales managers, distributors and others within the field; maintain ongoing communication with scheduling teams and the line/department Manager

Senior Thermal Customer Engineer:

• Respond in a professional manner to all assigned service calls while on duty.


• Perform all work in a safe manner and in accordance with established company safety policy.


• Perform all work using good working practice and current codes of practice/legislation relevant to assigned task.


• Assist in ensuring that the planned maintenance completion rate is maintained at a min 90%.


• Keep scheduling team informed of changes to your schedule and the status of all open jobs.


• Maintain the accuracy of the customer listing by reporting errors with the site change form.


• Close tasks in Oracle Mobile Field Service (MFS) daily and weekly paperwork in a timely, accurate and complete manner.


• Create reports using FieldDB system and ensure regular synchronization.


• Report sales or service leads to the proper department via the correct process.


• Support company vision and management decisions.


• Use email and other Office based programs to maintain/enhance communications processes.


• Ensure that all Vertiv processes are followed.


• Keep company vehicle clean and properly maintained.


• Protect all tooling and company property issued.


• Work as part of the service team and support business needs.


• Take an active role in the callout rota.

Qualifications

Required/ Minimum Qualifications

• NVQ Level 1 & 2, or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.


• City and Guilds 2078 or 2079 in Refrigerant Safe Handling, Subscribed to ACRIB.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent computer skills.


• Previous environmental service experience.


• Excellent customer service skills.


• Self-starter, ability to plan, organize and manage time effectively.


• Clean valid driving license.
