Vertiv seeks a Commissioning Engineer for its UK team to commission thermal products end-to-end, from final setup to customer specification. The role involves extensive use of electronic controllers and software, with comprehensive Vertiv training provided.

Applicants must be able to travel nationwide, lodge away from home, and work extended hours when required, including weekends. A full UK driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds 207 level 2 or higher/ equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience commissioning/servicing Thermal products
• Broad knowledge of electronic controllers
• Excellent knowledge of Data Center Thermal applications
• Excellent knowledge of refrigeration principles and controls
• Full UK driving license

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be tasked with the Commissioning of Vertiv Thermal products as a member of the UK Commissioning team. This will be to all levels of commissioning including final set up to Vertiv and customer specification. You will be expected to work extensively with electronic programmers and various software applications along with the setting up of electrical and mechanical components, requiring strong proficiencies in these areas. Extensive Vertiv product training will be provided.

Job Summary

A commitment to maintaining high commissioning standards is a must, as set out in Vertiv commissioning processes and an equally strong sense of ownership.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

• City and Guilds 207 level 2 or higher/ equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience commissioning/servicing Thermal products
• Broad knowledge of electronic controllers
• Excellent knowledge of Data Center Thermal applications
• Excellent knowledge of refrigeration principles and controls
• Team player is an absolute must
• Full UK driving license

Ensure that any activity, task and responsibility required by role in terms of the International Trade Compliance Regulation is managed and performed in full compliance with the Company ITC certification program itself.
