Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is seeking a Supermarket Assistant to support customers with a friendly, Partner-led service. You’ll help keep shelves stocked, assist online order fulfilment and ensure a clean, welcoming shop for everyone.

You’ll join a team focused on delivering excellent service with flexible hours where possible. A background in customer-facing roles helps, and a passion for food will help customers find what they need and enjoy their visit.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for delivery to customers’ doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns.
• Working with the wider shop team to support when needed including checkout support and Click & Collect orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
