Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues; therefore, if the times you’re available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we’d still love to hear from you. Responsibilities:

• Delivering your part of our customer shopping trip by:
• Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized
• Leaving the delivery area clean, tidy, and free of rubbish, and picking up litter as seen
• Washing trays as part of the tray wash process
• Loading the van as required, checking the van for roadworthiness
• Talking to the customer about any changes to their order, including short code items and substitutions, offering refunds if needed
• Taking care of products/deliveries as if they were your own
• Explaining to the customer that they will not be charged more for substitutions
• Delivering during the customer's preferred time slot
• Calling the customer before arriving if early
• Calling the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late

Requirements:

• Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit and ensure the store is the best for customers
• Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues, taking time to understand and thank customers
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change within the store
• Be energetic and driven to exceed expectations, balancing home and work life
• Share ideas with managers and colleagues on store improvements
• A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
