Job summary

Asda in Sheffield Drakehouse is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver on a permanent, part-time basis. You’ll be at the heart of the customer experience, loading your van, delivering groceries to customers’ front doors with a smile, and ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time.

You’ll work 22.5 hours weekly with daytime shifts, weekends and evenings possible. A valid UK driving licence (Full or Automatic) with up to 6 points is required.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the van and deliver orders to customers' front doors.
• Assist with ensuring orders are accurate and on time, support online order pickup when required.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
