Job summary

Asda in Milton Keynes is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to join our store team. This part-time, permanent role involves delivering orders to customers and loading the van, with a focus on friendly, reliable service and a positive customer experience.

You will handle loading, delivery, and some packing duties, with shifts during the day. A valid UK driving licence is required, and training will be provided to ensure high standards of service.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload van as required.
• Deliver to regular customers and ensure timely arrival to front doors.
• Keep van clean and fit for next delivery.
• Assist team during busy periods, including picking and packing online orders.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
