Job summary

ASDA Benton is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to join the store team on a part-time basis. You will load the van, deliver to customers, and ensure the vehicle is ready for the next delivery, while keeping a friendly, customer-focused approach.

The role runs in the afternoons, with 21 hours per week. A valid UK driving licence (Full or Automatic) is required, along with good communication and a flexible attitude to shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (Full or Automatic) for 12+ months with up to 6 penalty points.
• Strong communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexible to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers' front doors with a smile.
• Load deliveries and keep the van clean for the next trip.
• Assist the team with online orders and packing when busy.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you’re not on the road, you’ll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don’t worry, you don’t need to be an expert mechanic - we’ll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you’ll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
