Job summary

Asda Stores in Inverness is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver on a permanent part-time basis (25 hours/week). You will load your van, deliver groceries to customers’ homes, and ensure a positive, friendly service at the doorstep.

You’ll need a valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) with up to 6 points, strong communication, and flexibility to work weekends/evenings. Training is provided, with extensive colleague discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

• What you'll bring: A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly, helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers' front doors with a smile.
• Load and unload van; keep van clean and ready for next delivery.
• Help with online orders when busy, including picking and packing.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
