Hours
The role is permanent, working 30 hours per week across Monday to Saturday to support branch hours. Exact hours will be discussed at interview. The position involves working 4 full days plus alternate Saturday mornings, at both Harrogate and Wetherby branches.

Your role involves engaging with customers to understand their needs, providing information about our savings products and services, and helping them review their circumstances and goals. Our branches are central to our communities, but we also support customers online and via our contact center, reaching them at relevant times. Whether promoting products or resolving issues, you will always prioritize customer needs and deliver first-class service. You will be a listener, a problem solver, and a source of knowledge to help customers achieve their financial goals.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Be the first point of contact, welcoming customers warmly in-branch and over the phone.
  • Ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Listen carefully and offer personalized solutions for the best outcomes.
  • Proactively reach out to customers by phone to identify needs and discuss support options.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, with particular attention to vulnerable customers.
  • Adhere to policies and standards, supported by comprehensive training.

What Do We Need From You?

  • Previous experience in customer interaction, in person or over the phone, in sectors like banking, retail, food & beverage, hospitality, or healthcare.
  • Ability to work well with others and demonstrate a 'one-team' mindset.
  • Good time management skills to handle busy days and diverse customers.
  • Flexibility to adapt and grow with changing business needs.

What Is In It For You?

The role is permanent, 30 hours/week, with exact hours discussed at interview. Salary is £23,600/year, pro-rated to £19,665.88 for 30 hours/week. You will work at Harrogate and Wetherby branches as needed. Benefits include:
